Illustrated with portrait frontispieces, engraved title-pages, and 12 plates (some folding) and a folding table. Three volumes. Each volume with letterpress title-page. Contemporary half parchment over boards, burgundy and red gilt morocco lettering labels. FIRST COLLECTED EDITION OF FRANKLIN'S COMPLETE WORKS. 

Condition

Spines toned, soiled, labels chipped (one label missing on volume I), some wear, soiling to boards, hinges starting, text toned, some plates more toned than others, occasional soiling, foxing in text and plates. Very good.
