GERMAIN, Karl (Charles Mattmueller, 1878 ? 1959). Germain's Folding/Production Side Table. Circa 1910. Collapsible wooden table with paper accents and cloth top folds down to a small size, yet opens on command due to spring-loaded attachment near top. Height 25" (open). Repaired and in good working condition. With a letter of provenance tracing the tables from Germain to Paul Fleming (his prot?g?), to Bob Little, and then the Salon de Magie.
