Purchased for the Salon de Magie from Stuart Cramer, Germain's biographer and prot?g?. A letter of provenance from Cramer dated December 3, 1976 notes that the Ring Pull was used for a trick called the Ring from Hand to Hand, ?One of the few tricks Germain still did after he became blind."
