Group of 35 Television Screen Photographs of Lost in Space. (1960s–1974). Group of 35 color and black-and-white snapshot photographs depicting televised images from the science fiction series Lost in Space, captured directly from a television screen. The images show recognizable scenes including the Robot, spacecraft interiors, and extraterrestrial landscapes, framed within the curved edges of mid-century television sets. Seventeen color prints bear Kodak stamps and are dated July 1974 on the verso, while eighteen black-and-white examples appear earlier, likely 1960s, printed on slightly thinner stock. The photographs reflect an early vernacular practice of recording broadcast media prior to home video technology, preserving ephemeral moments of popular television through amateur means. Each approximately 3 1/2 x 5".
Minor wear overall, including light surface marks and handling.
