Group of 8 Military Tropical Snapshots with Soldiers, Skulls, Bones, and Religious Statuary. Circa 1930s/40s. Silver gelatin prints. Seemingly two groups of 4, showing servicemen in a tropical setting with striking cemetery or ossuary-related imagery. One group includes soldiers posed with human skulls and bones, including skulls held by servicemen and a macabre arrangement of skulls and crossed bones. The other group includes views of religious statuary or cemetery monuments in a palm-lined landscape, along with servicemen gathered outdoors. An unusual military photographic group with strong visual content, possibly Caribbean, Cuba, Pacific, or another tropical posting.

Condition
General handling wear, light soiling, age toning, some edge wear and curling. Overall good.
