Group of Liberia PRC Military Photographs Including a Thomas Quiwonkpa Collection of Three Vintage Black-and-White photographs. These depict members of the Armed Forces of Liberia during the early period of the People’s Redemption Council (PRC) following the 1980 coup led by Samuel K. Doe. These images show uniformed soldiers posed with rifles and radio equipment in studio-style portraits, including identification to Sgt. Thomas G. Quiwonkpa, a prominent military figure and commanding officer under Doe who later played a central role in Liberia’s political upheavals. Manuscript captions to verso referencing Monrovia and PRC affiliations along with a Vincent Photographer, Monrovia, Liberia studio stamp and a penciled date of 1981, offering a scarce and historically significant visual record of Liberia’s transitional military regime.  

Overall condition very good with light wear consistent with age.
