Handkerchief Burning Globe. Circa 1890. Brass globe with lid into which a borrowed silk handkerchief is placed, then set ablaze. Moments later after removing the lid, the hanky is shown intact and unharmed by the flames. Spun from brass with red and black lacquered accents. Height 8?. Good working condition.
