HEMINGWAY, Ernest (1899-1961). Christmas Card Inscribed and Signed by Ernest Hemingway, and Additionally Inscribed by His Wife, Mary. [Finca Vigia San Francisco de Paula, Cuba, ca. 1940s-50s]. Folding card with a picture of Hemingway's fishing boat, The Pilar, on the front flap (captioned in Hemingway's hand, ?T'as visto esta Barco? EH." (translation: ?Have you seen this ship? EH.")) Signed on inside of card by Hemingway, ?Mary and Ernesto". Next to Hemingway's inscription is his wife, Mary's (Mary Welsh Hemingway, 1908-1986), inscription in pink pencil: ?Recuerdos ? Saludos, Abrazos-? (translation: ?Memories ? Greetings, Hugs ? ?). Size of each page of card approximately 5 ? x 7". Some soiling, spotting. Very good. A charming item from Hemingway's famous tenure in Cuba.
