Housed in red cloth chemise and slipcase. FIRST EDITION, SECOND PRINTING IN THE CORRECT SECOND PRINTING JACKET. This printing was issued in a notoriously small number (around 500 copies), thus making this edition quite rare - especially so in the scarce dust jacket. This title was Hemingway's first published book in the U. S. After the first printing was issued, Hemingway had a dispute with Boni & Liveright, and left them for Charles Scribner's Sons in 1926. Boni & Liveright still issued this second printing two years after the first.
