A candid sepia image of the Rahners gathered in front of the family home, with Beatrice Houdini (Rahner) at the center wearing a black belt around her pale dress. Her siblings in the image include Marie (May), and twins Rosie and Sophie Rahner. Likely captured during a first communion ceremony for the young lady who appears at the left of the image. Approximately 4 ? x 5" with wrinkling and chipping around edges, and scrapbook remnants to verso. With an inked notation by one of the sitters on her dress, identifying herself in the photograph (?Me"). A charming and apparently unpublished image of Houdini's wife and her family. Provenance: Collection of Beatrice Houdini, passed to consignor by descent.
