HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 ? 1926). Typed Letter Signed by Harry Houdini. On Houdini's letterhead and dated April 11, 1922, he writes to fellow magician Alex De Vega about his film The Man from Beyond: ?My new picture opened last week and I am enclosing you what the newspapers have to say." He adds, ?Some one has made a film exposing some of Goldin's tricks and I think we will be able to suppress same." Houdini adds a post script apologizing for not repaying De Vega for various monies (likely spent in the investigation of spirit mediums). Lower left corner torn away not affecting text, old folds from mailing. With an additional post-script in Houdini's hand in ink stating, ?remember me to your good mother & Mrs." SIGNED in ink, ?Houdini."
