S.I.C. le tout enrichi de belles figures. Paris: F. Mazot, 1651 [1653]. Small 8vo. 53 leaves: [7pp.], [74 pp.], [25] pp.. Engraved title (dated 1651) by Collin (a cancel?), Les Litanies, and 39 pages of prayers and illustrations, and 24 pages of prayers including two portraits (Jesus and the Virgin Mary) and the "Histoire de David" plate, the final page being the "Extraict du Privilege du Roy" dated 20 September 1652 but altered by hand to 1653. Modern tan paper boards, lettered in black on spine. A SUMPTUOUSLY ILLUSTRATED VERSION OF THE HOLY MASS IN LATIN AND FRENCH, WITH NUMEROUS FINE ENGRAVINGS THROUGHOUT - TEXT IS ENGRAVED.

Condition

Light rubbing to binding, text lightly foxed, soiled, toned. Very good.
