This book gives a comprehensive picture of Jesuit missionary efforts up to 1610. It contains valuable information on colonial history, geography, ethnography gathered from Spanish and Portuguese sources. Some of the places described include the Congo, Angola, Ethiopia, Turkey, Mongolia, China, and, most importantly, Brazil.
