The photographs are attributed to cinematographer Jules Brenner and show camera crews at work with professional motion picture equipment, including tripod-mounted cameras, dolly rigs, and sound apparatus in outdoor training or production settings. Additional images include a dramatic upward view of a missile or rocket, wooded landscape studies, and informal portraits of servicemen, including one smoking with “U.S. Army” visible on his uniform. A cohesive and visually strong archive capturing mid-20th century military filmmaking and field production. Most measuring approximately 4 x 5".
