[LAFAYETTE] SELBINI, Lalla (Mary McCoy, 1878 – 1942). Three Selbini Postcards, one Signed. British, 1910s. Offset printed cards, one bearing a full-length portrait of Selbini in a Moorish costume from the Lafayette show with a sword on her hip and turban on her head; a second being a side-view bust portrait; and the third a portrait of a smiling Selbini with her hands at her face, INSCRIBED AND SIGNED in ink, “Yours truly / Lalla Selbini.” The latter trimmed and with scrapbook remnants to verso, the former two with divided backs both captioned “The only successor to The Great Lafayette.” All unused. A SCARCE grouping.
