Bound in contemporary full paneled calf, rebacked and recornered in modern calf, new brown cloth endleaves. THE UNCOMMON SECOND ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE COMPLETE WORKS OF MACHIAVELLI, ATTRIBUTED TO HENRY NEVILLE. With a general title-page and section titles for the works, including: The History of Florence, The Prince, The Discourses Upon the Fiirst Decade of Titus Livius, and The Art of War.
Condition
Boards worn, chipped, scuffed, text toned, with occasional soiling, creasing, a few leaves with small burn-holes with minor loss to text, a few gutters starting or cracking, a few small ink marks on general title-page, the last 80 or so pages with dampstaining at fore-edge, and the final four leaves with restoration at fore-edge. Still, good.
