[MOORE, Suzanne, artist]. -- DODGSON, Charles Lutwidge (?Lewis Carroll?) (1832-1898). Jabberwocky. Ashfield, MA, 1986. A calligraphic manuscript executed in various colors on gold daffodil-yellow paper in the form of an equilateral triangle (3 ?? on each side), which folds out to a panorama of over four feet long with text on both sides. Notes from Martin Gardner?s ?Annotated Alice?, in a small, sinuous italic hand, are interwoven with the text. Housed in a triangular case of handmade decorative paper within a fitted book-style of black silk. A unique artist?s book recreating Dodgson?s nonsense poem that was included in his 1871 novel Through the Looking-Glass.
