MORRIS, Chester (1901 - 1970). Chester Morris' Inaugural 1917 Goldwyn Pictures Acting Contract Signed by Adolph Klauber. New York City, 1917. Original contract duplicate for an untitled Goldwyn Pictures production, referenced as production number 12. The contract, signed by American theater critic and producer Adolph Klauber, states that a salary of $25.00 per week was offered to a 16-year-old Chester Morris (his first studio contract) for the role of "boy."
Also included is a selection of photographs and headshots of Morris, and a typed filmography, annotated by Morris with names of lead stars with each production. Signed by Morris to the lower right.

Condition
The contract is heavily toned with a central crease and tape repairs. Handing wear to all sheets.
