MUENCH, Josef (American, 1904–1998) Group of 4 Photographs: Native American Subjects and Southwestern Scenes. Circa 1950s. Gelatin silver photographs. Includes an Apache ceremonial group identified on verso as “Apache Indians ready for their famous Devil Dance,” a portrait of a Native American man with feathered staff, a weaving scene set against Monument Valley, and a seated figure in patterned textile. Several versos bear “Westway proofs” markings and Josef Muench studio stamp, with additional New Mexico State Tourist Bureau credit label on one. Images appear to be mid-century publicity or editorial proofs. Sizes vary slightly, approximately 8 x 10".

Light handling wear, editorial markings, and tape residue to versos.
