MULLICA, Tom (1948 - 2016). The Fool and The Clown. 1980s. Attractively handwritten statements in a calligraphic script defining "the fool" and "the clown," with the closing line, "the printed word can never replace the experience of seeing a good clown perform." Matted and framed, 15 x 23 1/2". This display hung on the walls of Mullica's magic bar, The Tom Foolery, for years.
