Generally toned, soiled, worn, several removed from bound volumes with accompanying minor damage to left margins. Generally very good. Newspapers include: The Whitehall Evening-Post (October 30, 1783 - mention of Montgolfier - also a brief mention of John Adams and John Jay's arrival in the London); The London Chronicle (January 31 to February 3, 1784 [and] October 19 to October 21, 1784 - an article on air balloons, and a diagram of an air balloon); The Pennsylvania Packet and Daily Advertiser (September 15, 1785 [and] September 21, 1785 - mentions of Montgolfier and de Rozier); The Daily Advertiser (July 10, 1789 - an illustrated article on Air Balloons); The Mail or, Claypoole's Daily Advertiser (December 25, 1792 - an article on Aerostations); The Balloon Graphic (August 9, 1873 [and] August 16, 1873 - illustrated throughout); The Daily Graphic An Illustrated Evening Newspaper (August 15, 1874- an excellent illustration, "The Terrible Accident to De Groof, the Flying Man in London").
