[NEWSPAPERS]. [JACKSON, Andrew (1767-1845), subject]. United States Telegraph--Extra. Washington: Dec. 7, 1830. PRESIDENT ANDREW JACKSON MESSAGE TO CONGRESS 'ON INDIAN REMOVAL.' Contains the entire speech in which Jackson informs Congress the progress of his Indian Removal Act signed in May. "It gives me great pleasure to announce to Congress that this benevolent policy of the United States Government, steadily pursued for nearly thirty years, in relation to the removal of the Indians beyond the white settlements, is approaching to a happy consummation."
Condition
Light spotting, toning. Wrinkles at right margin. Fold at bottom left and upper right. One vertical and three horizontal creases. Fraying at left from possible disbinding. Very good.
