Toned, brittle, chipped, several tears. Fair. HEADLINE ARTICLE ABOUT TWO MEMBERS OF THE BARROW GANG'S CAPTURE, AND THE ESCAPE OF BONNIE AND CLYDE, WITH A PHOTO OF THE AFTERMATH. A 50-man posse tracked down the Barrow Gang in Dexter, Iowa, resulting in a shoot-out. During the fracas, gang members Bonnie Parker, Clyde Barrow, and W. D. Jones managed to escape, while his brother, Marvin ("Buck") Barrow, Marvin's wife, Blanche, were both shot and captured (they had been previously wounded in a previous gun battle, in Platte City, MO). "Buck" soon died from his wounds after the Dexter shoot-out, but Blanche survived and was sentenced to 10 years in prison (she did lose her eye).
