Illustrated with 5 hand-colored plates, plus 17 plates including frontispiece. 198, [2, ads] pp. Bound without half-title. Near contemporary half calf over marbled boards, spine tooled in gilt and blind, black gilt morocco lettering label.
Condition
Spine chipped, front joint cracked near top, boards worn, scuffed, soiled, later endleaves indicating possible recasing, text a bit toned, occasional foxing, thumbsoiling, plates a bit toned, a few pages with small holes. Very good. 1875 FACSIMILE REPRINT OF THE 1801 FIRST EDITION. This work includes some interesting portraits of demons.
