Odd Fellows Initiatory Degree Banner. (I.O.O.F.). Circa 1900. Hand painted silk with ribbon trim, metallic fringe, and wooden hanging rod. This is the first degree a new member receives and introduces them to the basic tenets and practices of the order. Includes skull and crossbones, all seeing eye, three-link chain, and scythe. Minor wear, staining, and cracking in paint. Good condition. Unrolled 31 ? x 23 ? x 1".
