Odd Fellows Initiatory Degree Banner. (I.O.O.F.). Circa 1900. Hand painted silk with ribbon trim, metallic fringe, and metal and wood hanging rod. This is the first degree a new member receives and introduces them to the basic tenets and practices of the order. Includes all seeing eye within the three-link chain, skull and crossbones, and scythe. Wear and tearing to silk throughout, but notably to top and bottom. Metallic trim missing in areas at bottom. Significant paint loss to skull. Fair condition. Unrolled 29 x 21 x 1 1/8".
