Linen handkerchiefs with full color marker art, all featuring erotic imagery of beautiful women, gang life, or men behind bars. All approximately 16 ? x 16 ??. All unsigned. Several faint vertical or horizontal creases. Excellent condition. Pa?o artwork reflects the emotional longing or deep emotions experienced by Chicano prisoners. Although this artwork is usually symbolic, this group appears to be a fairly straightforward depiction of longing for female companionship or regret for street life.
