[PA?O ART]. A Group of Three Hand-Drawn Handkerchiefs by Prisoners. [Ca. 1990s-2000s]. Linen handkerchiefs with full color or black and white marker art, all featuring romantic symbols of birds, flowers, and a cross with thorns. One is signed by the artist in the lower right-hand corner, the other two have names of loved ones or other legends. All approximately 16 x 16? and a bit smaller. Several faint vertical or horizontal creases, one is a bit browned and lightly soiled, one has some marginal soiling. Excellent examples of Chicano Pa?o artwork.
