RATHBONE, Basil (1892-1967). Signed Photograph. Circa 1930s. Silver gelatin portrait of a young Rathbone in a black shirt, with a pencil-thin moustache. Signed at lower right corner, ?Sincerely Basil Rathbone". 10 x 8". Toned, lightly rubbed, some silvering to image. Very good. The ?Type 1" photo. This photo appears to be somewhat early in his career, before he gained lasting fame as Sherlock Holmes.
