Agnew Executive Office Building Washington, D. C. / Dear Mr. Vice-President and Mrs. Agnew:". Signed "My very best, Frank [signature] /Frank Sinatra [typed]". Approximately 10 1/2 x 7 1/4". AN EXCELLENT LETTER INVITING AGNEW TO THE OPENING OF THE "MARTIN ANTHONY SINATRA MEDICAL EDUCATION CENTER" IN PALM SPRINGS. This letter is both heartfelt (when Sinatra talks about his father) and businesslike (when he invites Agnew to the opening). With a COA from RR Auctions.

Excerpts: "At 10:30 on the morning of January 15th, the Martin Anthony Sinatra Medical Education Center will be dedicated at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs, California. The ultra-modern facility is named after my beloved late father, who died last year as the result of a heart condition. The Center, however, is not devoted to heart disease alone. It is devoted to the study of and hopeful conquering of many diseases. It is a place of research and retreat, both for the staff of the hospital and visiting medical men... Thus, it is with this thought in mind that we all hope that your taxing schedules will permit you to attend such a positive occasion of happiness and hope. If such a visit is possible, I would consider it an additional honor for you to be my houseguests during your stay in the desert." 

This center, built in 1970, was funded by Sinatra and his friends and colleagues for $805,000 at Desert Hospital as a teaching facility. The opening was attended by Agnew (a friend of Sinatra's), Ronald Reagan, three generations of Sinatra's family, and other dignitaries.

Each page with two horizontal creases, upper corners of both sheets with holes where two staples were removed, and associated crease. Very good.
