[SNUFF BOX]. [BONAPARTE, Napoleon (1769-1821), subject]. Trio of Snuff Boxes with Napoleon Depicted on the Lid. [Ca. 1800s-1810s]. Three circular snuff boxes with pull-off lids. All approximately 3 ?? in diameter and ?? high with lids. One box is burlwood with a carved or pressed image of Napoleon in profile (full body) in front of flags - the other two are papier-mache boxes with an image commemorating his marriage to Marie-Louise, showing the emperor and his new empress (one a front-facing pose, the other with the imperial couple in profile). Some general wear, some internal or external cracking. Very good or better.
