This curved silver snuff box is beautifully made and entirely detailed with a ribbed surface pattern; the hinged lid is engraved ?Francis S. Smith. approximately 2 ? x 1 ? x ?? The hinged top opens to reveal the snuff compartment and is hallmarked on the interior lid wall with the Leopard Head of the City of London. No further date or maker marks are visible. There is a minor indentation on the back, some mild tarnishing. Fine.
