FOURTEENTH EDITION, WITH THE BOOKPLATE AND TWO OWNERSHIP SIGNATURES (title-page and rp.) OF SPIRITUALIST AND RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHER JOSEPH SADONY. This book describes the religious visions of Marietta Davis while in an extended trance. Her visions included Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory (these visions are depicted in the illustrations).
Condition
Rebacked, preserving most of the original spine, binding toned, worn, soiled, free endleaves missing, hinges repaired, text and plates toned, soiled, foxed, first two text leaves with central tears and chips with some loss of text, some pencil notes on recto of frontispiece. Fair. Sold as-is, not subject to return.
