The Three Balloons. New York: Louis Tannen, 1950s. Three balloons rest on a tray. A card is chosen and lost. The magician asks a spectator to pick one of the three balloons on the tray in which the selection will appear. The choice flies away, the second deflates, and the third ? and last ? choice pops, revealing the selected card. Tray 15 x 7 ? x 1?. With cards, instructions, and sturdy metal carrying case. Invented by Norman Jensen. The first we have seen; this model likely inspired the version made by Warren Stephens that used a simplified design to create the same comedy effect. Later, Derek Dingle would create his own version that required no special props. Please note: balloons have been added via photoshop - any standard balloons will work.
