THURSTON, Howard (1869 ? 1936). Thurston TLS to a Fellow Magician. Circa 1915. One page TLS on Thurston's engraved letterhead addressed to ?Mr. W.L Lindhurst" (Lindhorst the Magician). Thurston writes, in part, ?I am sorry I cannot use any of the things you suggested in your letter. I want to thank you and the society for your kind entertainment and dinner." Thurston was a regular performer in St. Louis, where Lindhorst lived and worked and operated a magic shop. 4to, stained around perimeter, with scrapbook remnants to verso. SIGNED in ink ?Howard Thurston."
