Small 4to. 6 original lithographs, vignettes and initials hand?colored by the artist Charlotte Christine Engelhorn (1895?1960). Original reverse?calf, purple cloth sides gilt, uncut. Provenance: Otto Feistmann (bookplate). LIMITED EDITION, one of 100 copies on handmade paper, HAND?COLORED AND SIGNED BY THE ARTIST, from a total edition of 1000. RARE: We could not locate any copies of this limitation with hand?coloring selling at auction. The Young King was first published in 1891 as part of the anthology House of Pomegranates.
