Original vellum parchment with gilt design of Prunus blossom on covers and spine, top edge gilt, others uncut (light dust soiling at extremes, else fine). Provenance: Martin Secker (1882?1978), bookplate of the notable London publisher. SECOND EDITION, one of 250 copies bound up from the remainder of the first edition sheets which were divided equally between the second and third editions. The only differences between editions are found in the preliminary leaves and the gilt flowers on the boards are of a larger size in the second and third editions. Mason 305.
