THE SCARCE FIRST AUTHORIZED, FIRST PUBLISHED ENGLISH EDITION WITH FIRST ISSUE POINTS OF ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND; FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE (the misprint, "Wade" on p. 21) OF THROUGH THE LOOKING-GLASS. First editions of two of the greatest children's books ever published. 

Both volumes rebacked, preserving most of the original spines, spines and boards worn, soiled, toned, some marginal wear and a few short tears to endleaves, text lightly toned with occasional soiling, both with bookseller's ticket on rps. Still, very good. Housed together in later brown cloth clamshell case.
