Folio-size illustrated advertising book for Houdini's silent feature film, Haldane of the Secret Service. Filled with press comments, advance stories, photographs, silhouettes of Houdini, and still images from the movie. The front wrapper reads, "Presenting the great / HOUDINI / He'll Mop up for You." Housed in a custom full-cloth binding with gilt-stamped title label to front, and matching olive green endpapers. 

One of a handful of movies starring the great magician, Haldane of the Secret Service traces Houdini in the title role, as he pursues a ring of counterfeiters and also races to rescue a damsel in distress.

A RARE Houdini film pressbook produced in a giant format, and the only example with which we are acquainted.
