Vietnam War Photograph Archive Including North Vietnamese Soldiers, Combat Aftermath and Casualty Imagery. Group of approximately 175 original photographs, gelatin silver prints, documenting wartime Vietnam with a strong military and ground-level perspective. The archive includes numerous images of North Vietnamese soldiers and personnel, both posed and informal, as well as transportation scenes featuring bicycles and supply movement consistent with Viet Cong or North Vietnamese logistical activity. Of particular note are several stark images depicting the aftermath of a large explosion, with visible destruction and multiple soldier casualties, offering direct and unfiltered views of battlefield conditions. Additional photographs show rural villages, civilians, and daily life occurring alongside an active military presence, reinforcing the immediacy of the conflict environment. The vernacular nature of the photographs suggests compilation by a participant or local observer rather than official press distribution. A visually compelling and historically significant archive. Each approximately 4 x 4 3/4".
